Collective Cultural Oaxaca AC is a civil nonprofit association, formed by professionals, craftsmen and artists who want and seek a better Oaxaca. We are aware of the our enormous cultural history and the passion and potential that this holds, but we are also aware of gaps in our population who suffering much; ethnic groups, craftsmen, artists and many other of its inhabitants.
Mexico City. In order to link the great masters of Oaxacan art collectors and buyers, the collective Oaxaca Cultural B.C. organizes a gala evening in Oaxaca Guzina restaurant, located in Masaryk 513.
The event, to be held on July 6, at 19:30 pm, will feature the Oaxacan chef, Alejandro Ruiz, who will prepare a tasting dinner where the flavors of Oaxaca will serve as a prelude to an exclusive art exhibition.
In the sample involved teachers Carlo Magno Pedro, black clay sculptor and winner of the National Award for the Arts, and Jacobo and Maria Angeles, creators of a unique technique for creating alebrijes.
There will also be paintings by Francisco Toledo and Sergio Hernandez, Oaxacan painters of international stature.
All exhibited works will be acquired during the evening.
