Born in 1964 in Teococuilco, Oaxaca, a small town in the northern highlands of Zapotec. He died on July 22, 2013, in Oaxaca. After studying art in the city of Oaxaca, his amazing work led him to pursue art as a profession in the United States and Europe for 10 years. His works have been in exhibitions in several cities, including Paris, Brussels and San Francisco. Alejandro Santiago is considered one of the greatest painters in the Oaxacan contemporary painting.
